Biography

Achere holds a Bachelor degree in Nanobiology (joint program at the Delft University of Technology and the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam, the Netherlands) and is currently pursuing a Master degree in Nanobiology (at the same universities). The Nanobiology program is a relatively new little-known program that seeks to describe biology at the nanoscale using the physical laws that govern movement and processes at that scale. Achere joined the Menzel lab for his Master’s thesis project. He will direct his efforts toward the miniaturization of Computational Scattered Light Imaging, which will make the technique more accessible and applicable.
