Biography

Elias started his Bachelor in Nanobiology at TU Delft and Erasmus MC in 2025 and is currently a second-year student. Driven by a strong interest in the intersection of physics and biology, he developed a fascination for imaging techniques during his first-year laboratory courses. He is particularly intrigued by how advanced biophysical imaging can be applied to understand complex physiological diseases, such as cancer.

In October 2026, Elias joined the Menzel Lab as a student research assistant. In this role, he images tissue samples using ComSLI and assists in optimizing measurement setups and workflows.
