Biography

Ines holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Mondragon (Basque Country, Spain). She is currently finishing her Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Barcelona. As an intern, she worked in regulatory affairs for medical devices with AI/ML and as a technician in a research group related to cardiovascular risk and nutrition. Ines is joining the Menzel lab from September 2024 on to work on her Master thesis project, in which she will use ComSLI to analyze the cross-linking of fibers in different tissues (nerve, collagen and muscle tissue) and then analyze the collected data with machine learning.
