Biography

Irene is a Bachelor’s student in Nanobiology (joint program at Delft University of Technology and the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands). Nanobiology studies the borders of physics and biology and how these two fields collide in fundamental medical research. Irene joins the Menzel lab for her Bachelor’s end project from February 2024 on, and will work on 3D-nanoprinting for improved fiber reconstruction with ComSLI.
