Biography

Pim obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Nanobiology from the Delft University of Technology and Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam (Netherlands), and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Physics at the TU Delft. He previously worked on studying the rehydration of freeze-dried yeast cells at the Bionanoscience department, and was part of the TU Delft iGEM team where he worked on the development of an accessible rapid diagnostic test for vitamin and micronutrient deficiency. Pim joined the Menzel Lab for his Master’s thesis and will work on using ComSLI to study the three-dimensional network of fibrin fibers in blood clots and other types of fibres.
